Work to Wellness is a group of skilled professionals who bring the highest level of care, confidentiality and engagement to each unique workplace. We are the empathetic face of your organization’s disability management plan, working one-on-one with employees towards recovery and a successful return to work. In the workplace we are equally attentive to the employer’s needs as we help organizations navigate the many challenges of an employee’s illness and absence. Across B.C., our vocational rehabilitation consultants provide a service of care in a variety of sectors, including corporate, educational, healthcare and manufacturing. We build trust and communication among key players. We safeguard the privacy and promote the recovery of the absent employee. We preserve and improve the workplace for the employee’s eventual return. Diana

Diana has 24 years of working to improve the management of health in the workplace. Diana specializes in helping organizations understand their impact on the mental health of their employees and developing workplace strategies to prevent disability, improve the production of their workers, and create healthier work environments. She recognizes that work disability is best understood through a multi-factorial lens; and she employs integrated approaches to prevent and manage work disability.   Diana has worked with a wide range of organizations including large and small corporations, unions, and individuals. She specializes in managing complex psychological and psychiatric cases and those with workplace complications and the majority of her caseload reflects this. She is involved in coaching other Disability Management Consultants, recruitment, and staff training.  After working in various rehabilitation and disability management roles for WCB, private Insurers, and unions, she recently completed a Masters of Arts in Disability Management. She is passionate about reducing work disability through collaborative and consultative approaches.  Diana provides services throughout BC but primarily in the lower mainland and Vancouver Island.

Jennifer

Jennifer is an experienced Occupational Health Consultant with specialized training in Pain Management, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and Addictions, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. She is well grounded academically with a Masters of Arts in Counseling, and the highest credential possible for vocational rehabilitation in Canada.  She is an experienced Vocational Assessor working in a variety of settings to conduct a wide range of assessments.  She is also qualified to deliver Progressive Goal Attainment Program, an evidenced based and validated return to work program.  Jennifer participates in assessment, evaluation and also Clinical Counseling.  She is very experienced working in complex labour scenarios and has received multiple thank you’s from employer and union representatives involved in the same client care.  Jennifer has delivered return to work services within multiple industries, but particularly in the municipal sector, education (BCTF), and the finance industry.  Jennifer works in the lower mainland of BC, but frequently travels to the northern regions of BC to Prince George and Terrace BC to provide services to clients who work and reside there.

Leah

Leah has experience assisting clients with acquired illness and injuries return to the workplace. She has a solid Kinesiology academic foundation, and is a Certified Kinesiologist, which has given her the ability to problem solve disability/injury mechanisms and pain presentations. She has created programs designed to cater to specialty populations: mental health, brain injury, sport-specific, cardiac, diabetic and cancers to name a few. She has worked with WCB, ICBC, Private insurance companies and unions. She currently works with teachers within the BCTF Health and Wellness Program.  Leah also delivers Progressive Goal Attainment Program.  Leah travels throughout BC to deliver services including regions in the north.

Office Administrator

Rayann

Rayann is the Office Administrator for Work to Wellness and manages our technology, case management system, and privacy and information sharing with outside stakeholders.  She is fully trained in privacy legislation, confidentiality requirements, and follows our protocols to protect the privacy of our clients and customers.  She is a key member of our quality control processes and she provides guidance to internal and external customers.  Rayann is compassionate and sensitive to the needs of our clientele believing in the difference we make to the lives of those we work with.

Sheri

Sheri is a team leader and expert Occupational Health Consultant.  Her academic accomplishments include a Master degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and multiple certifications and professional development.  She has extensive experience working within disability insurance companies as a manager and mentor, and is a skilled collaborator mainly practicing in labour complex environments.  Sheri is an effective workshop facilitator as well, and delivers workshops to help work groups and organizations improve their readiness for return to work of employees. Sheri has been the team leader for the BCTF Health and Wellness Program delivery.  Sheri primarily delivers service in the Vancouver and lower mainland area, but travels to the Okanagan Valley when required.

Vikashni

Vikashni is an enthusiastic and committed professional. She is fluent in English and Hindi. She has worked in both the private and public sector and has a strong WCB background. She understands the unique parameters of disability insurance, public sector rehabilitation, and motor vehicle insurance rehabilitation. She has provided disability management to individuals returning to their own and other jobs using various assessment tools. Vikashni has worked with the BC Teachers Health and Wellness Program for several years and has an extensive understanding of the unique challenges of work reintegration for the demanding career as a teacher.  She is also qualified to deliver Progressive Goal Attainment Program, an evidence based validated return to work program.  Viki provides services in the lower mainland BC.
